More South Africans Are Accessing FLISP — Be One

South Africans have been embracing the opportunities provided by the government to secure their futures. When it comes to housing, few achievements are as rewarding as owning a home that can be passed down through generations. The Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme (FLISP) is helping more families turn this dream into a lasting reality.

Build your legacy through homeownership – grab your government housing subsidy this year with help from FirstStep Housing. Let our team assist you every step of the way, from budgeting and planning to helping you secure an offer to purchase before applying for FLISP. If you cannot afford to buy a home due to limited funds, FLISP (also known as first home finance) provides shortfall solutions, bridging the gap to homeownership.

Understanding FLISP

FLISP is a grant (free money from the government that does not need to be paid back) that helps you to afford the purchase of your first home. More South Africans are accessing FLISP – be one and provide your family with a secure foundation for years to come. We are here to help you reach the milestone of homeownership without stress.

First, determine if you are within the right criteria to apply. Using FLISP when buying property with family is only possible if you are in the GAP market – this means you earn too little to buy a home without help, and too much to benefit from RDP housing. First home finance makes property ownership possible despite financial challenges.
